The National Retail Federation is the world's largest retail trade association, with membership that comprises all retail formats and channels of distribution including department, specialty, discount, catalog, Internet, independent stores, chain restaurants, drug stores and grocery stores as well as the industry's key trading partners of retail goods and services. NRF represents an industry with more than 1.6 million U.S. retail companies, more than 25 million employees - about one in five American workers - and 2007 sales of $4.5 trillion. As the industry umbrella group, NRF also represents over 100 state, national and international retail associations.
Under NRF's retail umbrella, sit 4 association groups including: the Association for Retail Technology Standards, the National Council of Chain Restaurants, the Retail Advertising and Marketing Association and Shop.org. Additional information on these groups can be found at NRF Divisions.
In addition to the divisions, NRF has a research and education arms as well as a monthly magazine. The NRF Foundation (NRFF) is a non-profit 501(c)3 foundation that conducts industry research, develops education and workforce development programs, and promotes retailing as a career destination. STORES magazine is the monthly magazine of the National Retail Federation, covering issues of importance to today’s senior retail professional.

Overview
The Islanders Business Club is a business to business network that was created to help companies get the most out of their relationships with the Islanders. Islanders Hall of Famer Mike Bossy proudly serves as Islanders Business Club Executive Director.
Islanders Fans are 187% more likely than the average New Yorker to be an Owner/Partner in a Business. By comparison, Mets, Yankees and Rangers fans are actually equal to or less likely than the average New Yorker to be an Owner/Partner in a Business. Furthermore, 8.9% of Islanders Fans are Small Business Owners.
Mission
The mission of the Islanders Business Club is threefold:
- To innovate the New York Islanders corporate service effort to deliver greater return on investment and return on objectives for their corporate partners.
- To expand the business development opportunities that the New York Islanders offer their corporate partners.
- To provide a new opportunity for businesses that have previously not capitalized on their sales and marketing initiatives.

ASIS International, with more than 33,000 members, is the largest international organization for professionals responsible for security, including managers and directors of security.
