SERVICE RESPONSE TIME

We have spoken with many National retailers and their biggest complaint is waiting too long for service. At S-TRON, our first response will be within a couple of hours from when the call is received. This response will be a phone call to the store from one of our engineers. This call will accomplish one of two results; a phone fix or a thorough diagnosis for our field technicians. Twenty percent of these calls result in fixing the problem over the phone thus saving you, our client, money. Let’s face it, the last thing you want to pay for is a service call because a power supply was unplugged or a wrong button pushed on the DVR. If our trouble shooting does not result in a fix at least we have diagnosed the problem and the service technician will show up with any parts he/she will need to remedy the situation. Because of our proactive due diligence S-TRON is able to complete 95% of service calls on the first visit, typically within three days from receiving the service request. We understand how frustrating it is to wait weeks for a service technician to show up only to tell you that they need to order a part and will return when it comes in. We work very hard to ensure that this unacceptable scenario is an extreme exception and not a standard practice.

NON-PROPRIETARY EQUIPMENT

At S-TRON we strongly recommend that retailers choose a non-proprietary equipment solution. In today’s world of advanced technology and system integration we believe this makes the most sense for medium to large, multi site systems. Retailers need to be flexible and your CCTV systems should be also. Unfortunately, using proprietary equipment “locks you in” to a specific manufacturer and/or vendor. This gives retailers little to no options as many retailers have discovered. An S-TRON engineered system will assure you that your CCTV system, DVR’s, cameras, and controllers are able to integrate with other manufacturers products and these products are available to distributors and dealers. This type of system will give you flexibility when you may want to replace equipment because of age or to upgrade to the latest technology. You will also have greater options for service should your service provider fail you.
